Education and Training in Impeccable Imam's Way of Life

There are some fsundamental principles in the way of life of Impeccable Imams as religious-political leaders of the Muslim society; these principles reinforce Muslim's thoughts and ideas and culminate in scientific and cultural development of the Islamic government and society. One of these principles, dealt with in the present study, is the principle of "education and training". Encouraging people to acquire knowledge in all fields of intellectual, traditional and empirical matters as well as religious training is one of the major Islamic teachings, and every Muslim men and women's concern for acquiring knowledge and civility is among the necessary tools for movement, growth and perfection. This paper has tried to search in early Islamic sources, Shii's in particular, to delineate what methods, devices, and educational materials have been utilized by Imams, and what had been their primary and secondary goals in this invaluable effort. The research method in this paper is documentary, descriptive and library-based.
