Surviving the effect of home visit on the manner of self care in leprotic patients residing in mashhad

Nursing care and education of care to leprotic patient, because of the malformation of organs, and skin disorders and damage, in efficiency of moving organs to accomplish daily assignments, etc… have great importance.METHODDOLOGY: this research was a semi-experimental study, with one group and two –stage progects means. This sample includes 60 patients who were selected by accessible and object-centered methods, between leprotic patients dwelling in mashhad. The home-visit sessions eslf educations. the number of home-visit were five 30-60 minutes sessions, for each patient, in the first and end seeeion(three weeks after education),the self-care forms were completed by researcher with interview method. After gathering the data by Correlation, ANOVA, Tukey, Independent t and Paired t tests they were analyzed. the average of self-care scores, and after intervention in these dimensions was significant (p<0/001),so that this average before and after intervention in physical dimension 39/23-46/5, in phsycological 13/90-15/36,cultural-social 14/1-15/43, nutrition 16/2-21/38, environmental 17/22-23/38,respectively. it was determined that education, income,and affecting with other diseases had the most effect on self-care scores.
