Abstract:
For the purpose of the study, the following plant species growing along roadsides in lowand high pollution density areas (BAZAR and NIAVARAN)in TEHRAN had beenselected:Lavandula officinalis Chaix. and ligustrum vulgare L. The present study shown that The air pollution caused an increase in cell membrane lipid peroxidation. The antioxidant enzymeZ activity increased to different degrees in polluted area.
