Combined neo-institutional theory and its Role to create competitive advantage

Abstract:
Nowadays, increasing intensive competition among organizationsNeo-institutional theory, which possesses strong sociological origins, bases its arguments on the notion that organizations are socially rewarded by legitimacy, resources, and survival based on their acceptance institutional pressures (of coercive, normative, and mimetic). Neo-institutional theory explains an organization’s actions within an institutional and strategic vision and as a response to both institutional and competitive pressures. The aim of this paper is to defend the utility and power of the theory in order to create Competitive advantage by showing its ability to inform managerial behavior. This article is tried by combining neo-institutional theory with those theories explains the role of neo-institutional theory in creation of competitive advantage that the base of this data is presented a model. The goal of this research is development in a survey-analysis way. Statistical population of the research includes two banks of Eghtesad-e-Novin and Persian in Tehran. This research is presented the result of re-definition of neo-intuitional theory is consistence to new environmental requirement. This theory can present as an approach that explain the creation of competitive advantage. That means the competitive advantage gain not only thorough of discrimination but only thorough of efficiency and in homogenous Resource.
