The Function of Network in Academic and Public Libraries with Common Use

As the numbers of university students are increasing, common use of academic & public libraries can have very useful function in responding the student's information needs. Therefore the connection of such libraries can decrease the costs and increase the productivity of library resources, softwares, equipments, and staff. In the present paper, referring to some successful relevant programmers', it is tried to give some guidelines to follow such programmers in Iran.
