State of Knowledge Management in Electrical Special Libraries and Presentation of a Model

The purpose of this study is to examine the state of knowledge management in electricity special library in Ministry of Energy and present a model. The Directories of libraries and their direct managers of Tavanir specialized holding company including 16 regional electricity companies has been studied. This study uses questionnaire and also qualitative interview to explore the how manager organize their knowledge. Findings include the main four indicators such as gathering, organizing, disseminating & human recourses that have been explored in related to studied sample. The studied sample evaluated the performance of knowledge management small and under-medium rate and the present situation is not suitable. Finally the model for implementation knowledge management program in this area has been offered.
