The role of FOCUS-PDCA on handling of urgent patients

One of the important indexes of efficacy in urgent department is the handling time of urgent patients. According to the American heart society studies each minute delay in CPR for urgent patient decrease 7-10% of survival. Others study shows 30-40% of death in casualty (victims) is in primary minutes of accidence. For improve the quality of services in urgent department shortening the transfer time and presenting good care are the subjects that should be especial attention to them. Today attention to quality of services is the goals of pioneer organizations. And in health sector because of patient life, it is veryimportant subject that should be attention to it and improve this service continuously.This is a descriptive study that performed with documents and outcome of previous studies. According to these materials runningthe FOCUS-PDCA program in urgent departments has a positiveeffects and it decreased the patient transfer time and presentinggood care.
