Analysis Of Research Problems In Universities Using Topsis Technique (From P.O.V. Of Yazd University Scientific Board Members)

The important role of research and its essential role in growth and development is something critical. So knowledge about the research barriers and trying to solve them is very important in quantitative and qualitative improvement in this field. In this way, the current research is trying to analysis the research barriers in universities and research centers from the view of Yazd universities of Faculity members. The methodology of current research according to its theme and objectives is field-descriptive method. According to research objectives, the best way to collect the required data was questionnaire. So first with review of literature and using the experts view and using factor analysis, we devided the 40 variables in 7 general groups. Next, we used Fuzzy TOPSIS technique to rank these factors. Results show that the reviwed barriers contain 78% of the variance of all the barriers and from these barriers “the barriers associated to Eductional Stracture” have the most impact in this research. Besides, some applicable recommendations were suggested.
