A Study of the Relationship between Entrepreneurship and Effectiveness of High School Principals of Kerman City

The goal of this study was to explore the relationship between entrepreneurship and the effectiveness of girl's high school principals of Kerman city. It was hypothesized that there was a relationship between aspects of entrepreneurship and effectiveness of the principals. This correlational study was based on a survey of all girl's high school principals (57) in the school year 1385-1386 using two questionnaires designed by the current researchers. The face validity and content validity of the two questionnaires namely "characteristics of entrepreneurship" and "effectiveness" were established on the basis of the available recourses and scholar's views. Reliability of the instrumentsalso was assessed through a pilot test using Alpha Cronbach''s index (α. 73). The statistical analysis of the data showed that the hypothesis could not be supported and no relationship was found between the characteristics of entrepreneurship and effectiveness of the principals. This indicated that the effectiveness of the principals can not be predicted on the basis of the characteristics of their entrepreneurship and thatdevelopment of entrepreneurship currently is not on the agenda of the education organization.
