Defense Acquisition System A Comparison Between France, Great Britain, Germany and the United States

Countries have different instruments and methods toward establishing their security. One of these methods is the acquisition of modern and effective equipments. Therefore defense preparation and procurement is the concern of most statesmen.In this writing, it has been tried to compare the mechanism of the defense acquisition systems of France, Germany, United Kingdom and the United States. The finding of this research shows that comparing to Germany and United Kingdom, United States and France are less interested in foreign equipment procurements. In all of these four countries, using competition as an instrument to protect the concept of "Value for money" is emphasized.
