Factors affecting management of physical education classrooms in deprived and wealthy schools

Abstract:
The purpose of this search was to survey the effective educational factors on the management of physical education classrooms in wealthy and deprived schools of sport facilities. The method of this research is descriptive and the data collection instrument was a questionnaire extracted and translated from the article of Mc Cormack (1997), with the reliability of %87. A pilot study was done; the reliability coefficient of the questionnaire was %86 by use of Cronbakh alpha. Statistical population was 141 P.E teachers in guidance schools and high schools of Rasht. For the sampling, the census method was used and 108 teachers (%76/59) participated actively in this research. Through SPSS software, for inferential analysis of the data, Independent T test, F and Scheffe follow-up test were used at the level of P 0.05. The results indicated that between effective educational factors on the management of physical education classrooms (that included; facilities, cooperation, students, social factors and teacher,) the influence of facilities, students, social factors in wealthy schools are more than deprived schools and between these factors, facilities and teachers had the high importance in every school mean while, from the teacher’s point of view with less than 10 years of experience these factors were significantly more than those with 11-20 years and above 20 years experienced teacher.
