Depression rate for the students of Azad University of miyaneh and the contributors: guide line for deer easing or removing the depression

The sampling populations were 1756 students from whom 318 students were randomly sampled in 81-82 Iranian school year. They were divided in to two groups of 175 males and 143 females. The sample populations were requested to fill the questionnaire including general identification information's and BDI-1 standard depression test. The depression scales were drawn from the answers. The findings are: non-depressed 34%, low depressed 34.62%, and needed physician consult semi depressed 20.75%, high depressed 9.2%, and severe depressed 1.6%. Depression contributors were: sex course of study economical condition of parent's nativeness employment, job expectancy, satisfaction rate in university environment, marriage situation, peer group communication.
