University and National Solidarity in Imam Khomeini's View

National Unity or solidarity are one of central and main signifiers or concepts of Imam Khomeini’s Discourse, which he continuously focused on from rational and strategic point, but not ideological and tactical approach. Among different influential institutions, groups and important centers on unity and solidarity, Imam had a special attention on think tanks and thought or ideas producing by centers like University and hawzahs. In Imam’s point of view, unity rooted in oneness. So, the university which its science, environment, contents, masters and students are formed and established based on this root, can play a positive role on national unity. In brief, Imam’s view to the university role on national solidarity is an ontological view with two different functions which each depends on the level of harmonization between university identity and national identity.
