Command style results from mental and value culture of the commanders. By reversed engineering of these two factors and their influential parameters, we can grasp the commander's style. Mental and thinking origin of imam's (a) is affected by two social factors: 1- Social and cultural situations of that time. 2- Soft and hard arena. The arena has some characteristics which require special behaviors. Normally, understanding the differences of them helpfully affect the understanding of Imam (a) command styles in soft and hard threats. The two origins are studied to demonstrate the ideal command style in Alavi culture, which will be presented in future issue of the magazine.

Given the important role of Basij in maintaining Islamic values and culture and active participant of their forces in countering the west cultural aggression, the effectiveness of employing the Basij is assessed in this research. To do this, we referred to the sources and documents, studied theoretical researches and interviewed managers. So, characteristics of employing Basij forces was extracted and effectiveness their activities were assessed. In this regard, cluster sampling in different phases of 620 (basij forces and people) was used. 38-matterial measurement of hypothesis and assessment of effectiveness of Basij forces activities were used in the research, which had high perpetuity (r=94). Next, effectiveness of every independent variable in countering cultural aggression was tested. Then, data gathered through measurement was coded and analyzed through SPSS software. Finally, the average scores of the two groups were compared through T test: the levels of effectiveness of 5 variables, representing Basij forces as symbols, cultural activities, enjoying the good and forbidding the evil, combat-cultural camping, taking part in recreational places. On nomadic tribes and their role in irregular wars and defense of Iran’s borders, especially in Eight-year holly defense in Elam province, it’s not been researched seriously. So, Elam’s nomadic tribes and their roles in holly defense and security of the borders of the province’ve been studied in this article. The main goal of the article is to answer this question; did these tribes have any roles? Descriptive, analysis and measuring methods are applied in the research. Data is collected in field and library ways as well, index of cards, studying documents, reviewing maps and pictures, field interviewing, gathering questionnaire and observations have been used. Commanders, tribes’ patriarchs and influential people in organizing groups took part in the research. Questionnaires distributed in the sample societies and the results were analyzed which show nomadic tribes took part in the war from very early days of war. They organized stations, supported the worriers and organized battle groups (battalions, brigades and divisions). Finally, the article concludes the role of the tribes were positive, important, on time and useful in holly defense and security of the borders of the provinces.

Security is critical which in its classical form, contains social, political, cultural and economic aspects. On the other hand, nation participation is one of the main discussions in national security. Nation participation in different social trends should be developed from passive to active and from instrumental way to deliberate participation, dependent and innovative. Geographical location of Taibad city (79 kilometers joint border with Afghanistan and 60% of Sunnite) required us to assess the relation of ideas characteristics of Sunnite of the city and aspects of security in its manager's points of view. In the research, the vulnerabilities of security are recognized. The results of the analysis show that there is meaningful relation between the idea characteristics of Sunnite and the aspects of security. Suggestions are presented to improve the security of the city according to the results.

The role of cruise and other stand-off weaponry with lethal capability and accuracy in destroying the critical goals, yet not to be discovered by active defenses is very important. These armaments have valuable role in destroying the enemy center of gravities. Flying in low altitude and low level of visibility, the missile has high secrecy capability. Available reconnaissance systems arent design to counter the missile. Thus, new concepts should be designed to do the responsibility. In this research, we try to assess and understand the ways to reconnaissance as well as countering the missile. Then, we answer the question, is it possible to reconnaissance and destroy the missile, and how? The research is applied research and its method is descriptive-analytical. At the end, we conclude, to discover and destroy the threat, we can employ the followings: defense systems of fire controlling, anti-air artillery with radar and passive defense in low and mid altitude, and divert the missile from its original rout. Having optimum electronic warfare, jamming and commanding the missile in wrong way and also using mass ground to air defense systems can result in destroying the sophisticated missile.

The role of information in different fields is reviewed in this research: Political, military, economic and cultural wars, complex situation, different variables and threats, and challenges (domestically, regionally and globally). We try to survey the dimensions of information warfare according to scientific paradigm of contemporary defense schools. This text is the consequence of a research which is an applied research according to its aim; it's descriptive-inductive according to analysis level; it's library research method according to its approach and taxonomy. The required data is gathered through library studies and indexing the cards. The main question is replied in the research is, what are the dimensions of the information warfare in information age? Therere some secondary questions as these: what are the characteristics of information warfare? What are the aims in information warfare? Which instruments are used in information warfare? In which levels of warfare is the information warfare developed and implemented? In which theater is Information warfare implemented?

The early years of Islam's history –from hazrat Mohammad's era till Ashura- are full of military incidents. The military thought of these wars had especial principals, studied precisely, can lead the real believers through the centuries. Reviewing this part of the history prove the right concepts and policies, employed by hazrat Mohammad(s). It seems that the holly man had spent his life years in military universities that could plan like an understanding commander and give impressive victories. We are trying to study the principals the three noble men, mentioned above, according to their behaviors and words. So, to better understand the topics, their military thought principals are studied separately.
