    Background and Objectives

This study has aimed to investigate the level of familiarity of librarians and users of the Central Library of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch of Tehran with Web 2.0 services, especially mobile instant messaging applications. Another goal of this study was to provide practical solutions for using applications in order to provide library services.

    Methodology

This study was an applied research and was conducted with a survey-based approach. The population consisted of librarians and users of the Central Library of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research Branch in Tehran. A digital questionnaire was prepared for data collection, and data analysis was performed using SPSS software.

    Findings

The findings indicated that librarians and library users were more familiar with Web 2.0 applications than with Librarian 2.0 and Library 2.0. The frequency of librarians’ and users' responsiveness to the use of mobile instant applications was quite high, 0.35 and 0 .40, respectively. In both groups, the use of mobile messaging applications was moderate. Library users also agreed on providing a variety of virtual social media services in the library.

    Discussion

The analyses of this study on services offered by libraries using mobile instant messaging applications would make libraries adopt new technologies and move towards changes in the new era.

This study aims to identify the factors of Challenges and problems of Library and Information Science Research from the perspective of field specialists in Iran .This study examines one of these experiences to explanation conditions and strategies necessary for the success of such experience. This research, on the other hand has tried to clarify factors that affect on research .The method of the study is grounded theory. The survey was adopted for data collection through Deep interviews were conducted to collect information with 13 knowledge and science experts selected by mixed or mixed purpose sampling. After three steps of coding (Strauss & Corbin, 1998), the central phenomenon of the study was identified: " Research pathology in knowledge and information science” The analysis and coding of the interview data were done in three stages of open coding, axial coding and selective coding using the MAXQDA 10 qualitative data analysis software. Then paradigmatic model was developed. The results show that Human challenges ,Lack of time management, Financial crisis ,Lack of research popularity, Weak research structure, Lack of commitment ,Problem making ,Duplication, Lack of strategic planning are the most important affecting the phenomenon. four main outcome of this phenomenon is Implementation, Nativism, Empowering information consultation and Research empowerment.

    Background and Objectives
The present study aimed to investigate the impact of users’ verbal, imagery and bimodal cognitive style, and browsing experience on their disorientation level during web browsing.
    Methodology
In order to extract the data obtained from users’ transaction files, a hybrid approach, including the content analysis method and the think-aloud technique, was utilized. The statistical population in this study included all of the undergraduate students at Shiraz University, and the sample consisted of 90 voluntary undergraduate students.
    Findings
According to the results, no significant difference was observed among the cognitive styles as far as disorientation level was concerned. However, novice users experienced higher levels of disorientation in comparison with experienced users. In addition, it was observed that there is a significant difference between the users who had different levels of experience and cognitive styles in terms of disorientation in browsing. The verbal and novice users also experienced higher levels of disorientation compared to the verbal and experienced users.
    Discussion
Due to the limited understanding of the role which cognitive style plays in guiding users during web browsing, the results of the present study appeared to be useful in providing a better understanding of the factors influencing the users’ performance in browsing process and thereby the need to consider them in user modeling and training.

    Background and Objectives
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between work-family conflict on one hand and job satisfaction and burnout among the public librarians in Ilam on the other.
    Methodology
The participants in this study included the entire staff of public libraries in Ilam. Eighty-nine participants were selected thorough Cochran formula in a stratified random sampling method. To collect data, the NeteMeyer Work-Family Conflict Questionnaire (WFC), Maslach and Jackson Burnout Questionnaire, and Linz Job Satisfaction Questionnaire were used. For analyzing data correlation coefficient, multiple linear regression and independent T-test were used.
    Findings
The findings showed that there was a significant relationship between work-family conflict (work-family and family-work) on one hand and job satisfaction and burnout on the other. It was further revealed that there was no significant difference between work-family conflict (work-family and family-work) in two different groups of men and women.
    Discussion
The findings can be useful for providing a suitable situation in the workplace with the aim of improving work-family conflict, increasing job satisfaction, and reducing burnout among public librarians. Also, it can help both the librarians to be employed based on their talent and ability and the managers to provide facilities at the workplace so that the social image of librarians will be enhanced and their staffing status will be improved.

    Background and Objectives
This study was intended to investigate the opinion of the users of the Central Library of Astan Quds Razavi (CLAQR) regarding the provided services using Six-Sigma methodology.
    Methodology
This is an applied descriptive-survey study that explores the gap between the minimum level of expectations, the current status, and the maximum level of users’ expectations regarding the human force services, information resources, and space available in the CLAQR. The data were collected by the Libqual Questionnaire and analyzed using SPSS 23.
    Findings
The average score of 72.88% for users’ opinions regarding the indicator of human force (HF) in CLAQR shows the relative satisfaction of users in this regard. Only the indicator of “prepared staff for answering the users’ questions”, with a 50% satisfaction score, failed to meet the minimum expectations of the users. The average score of 76.88% regarding users’ opinions about the quality of the available resources in the library also indicates their relative satisfaction. Among the indicators related to the quality of resources, “audiovisual materials” received the highest satisfaction score (93.33%). The average score of 72.95% for users’ opinions indicates overall satisfaction with space and amenities available. However, the scores of some sub-indicators such as “comfortable and pleasant place” and “the presence of proper space for studying and learning” related to the current status were even lower than the minimum expectation level
    Discussion
The results show that overall, CLAQR has been successful in gaining 79.2% user satisfaction. The proximity of the actual level of service to the maximum level of users’ expectations enhances the quality of service provided by the library, and it will be possible to gain users’ maximum satisfaction with greater effort and focus on removing existing shortcomings.

    Background and Objectives

Today, hospital websites are used as a communication tool in many countries of the world. The purpose of the present study is to evaluate the quality and ranking of websites in governmental.

    Methodology

This is an applied evaluative study. The research method is a combination of a descriptive survey and the Delphi Technique. Eighty-seven active websites out of 156 websites approved by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education were selected as the sample of the study. Data was collected using data mining tool developed by Olsina et al. The validity and reliability of the tool has, however, been confirmed in previous studies (α = 0.82). Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the statistical data and Excel was used for data analysis.

    Findings

The evaluation of hospital websites using the four criteria in WebQEM showed that the studied websites were very desirable in terms of the performance score of 0.244, very desirable in terms of efficiency with a score of 0.163, very desirable in terms of reliability with a score of 162.0, and desirable in terms of usability with a score of 0.219. The hospital websites evaluated by WebQEM were in desirable status based on the main criteria; however, they were in undesirable status in terms of secondary criteria, which requires reviewing and improving the conditions.

    Discussion

The results of this study can be attributed to the nature of WebQEM method. However, for a more precise evaluation of websites in Iranian hospital, it seems necessary to consider it from the viewpoint of users (patients and doctors).
