    Heart failure (HF) is considered one of the most common heart disorders. Recent studies suggest that injections of amniotic membrane stem cells (AMSC) can improve heart function. Therefore, the current study investigated the effect of intra-myocardial injection of human amniotic membrane-derived stem cells (hAMCs) on inflammatory-related cytokines like IL-10 and IL-17 in the HF model of rats. Twenty-eight male Wistar rats were categorized into four groups: control, HF, culture medium injection group, and hAMCs injection group. After 60 days, blood samples were taken from the animals, and the expression levels of interleukins 10 and 17 were measured by the ELISA technique. The results showed that injection of hAMCs into male rats with HF caused down-regulation of IL-17 inflammatory cytokine and over-expression of IL-10 anti-inflammatory cytokine. Based on the results of this study and previous ones, we concluded that hAMCs could be considered one of the candidates in future studies on reducing inflammation in HF treatment by adjusting some inflammatory cytokines.

    Tissue regeneration is the process of renewal and growth of damaging tissue. It is sometimes done by induction of an external biological factor(s) such as the Basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) which carries messages through its cellular receptor to induce biological processes such as cell growth, cell migration, cell survival, and cell differentiation. Due to the great importance of bFGF on cellular regeneration, in this study, we have concentrated on the effect of this factor on the regeneration of damaged muscle. In addition, the tumorigenic effect of this factor during this regenerative process was studied. In this study, we employed inbred mice. The cultured male mouse muscle cells were transplanted into the damaged muscle tissues of HLA_matched female mice. After about one month, selected samples from the transplanted regions of the female mice were analyzed. DNA was extracted from the samples and Sex determination was done to track the potential cell growth and repair by the introduced male cells in the presence and absence of bFGF. The tumorigenic effect of bFGF on this process was also assessed. We found that bFGF had a remarkable effect on damaged muscle regeneration compared to cells without injection of this factor, and more concentration of bFGF was determined to be more effective in muscle regeneration. However, no association was observed with tumorigenesis regarding bFGF injection. According to our findings, bFGF was effective in the regeneration of the injury site and confirmed the results of previous studies. However, no association was found with tumorigenesis.

    Cancer has been become threatening the health and life of humans. Therefore, attempt to discovery more effective anticancer agents continue. Thiadiazole derivatives have been shown remarkable effects among chemotherapeutic agents. In this study, hybrid molecules containing thiadiazole amide derivatives -aromatic amines (anthranilic acid and 2, 5 dichloro aniline) were synthesized in multi-step reactions including N-amidation  and S-alkylation of thiadiazole. Synthesized compounds were assayed by MTT test against three cell lines. Molecular docking was performed on Src tyrosine kinases. Compounds 5a, 5b and 8 rendered remarkable cytotoxic properties on HeLa with IC50‹ 60 µM. Compound 5b showed significant cytotoxic effect on both cancer cell lines compared to other tested derivatives. Compound 5a with ΔG = -8.05kcal/mol was the best compound among  docked compounds.The results revealed that the quiddity of the amide  substitution  has a definitive role in the cytotoxic activity.

    A facile one-pot multicomponent protocol for the synthesis of bio-active dihydropyrano(2,3-c)pyrazole derivatives from ethyl acetoacetate, hydrazine hydrate, malononitrile and aryl aldehydes using preheated-fly-ash as catalyst for the first time.These environmentally begin multicomponent cyclocondensations offer some interesting advantages, advantages of this methodology are the use of nontoxic solvent, cost-effective and easy availability of catalyst, ease of the work-up, high yields (up to 95%), and green protocol.

    Suture zones within continental collision zones generally considered as deep-seated thick-skinned thrusts/shear zones rotted in lower crust. Main Zagros Revers Fault (MZRF) is the suture zone for continental collision between the Afro-Arabia and Eurassia plates. The fault comprises of a main thrust in its NW part (Baneh area) while is partitioned to four fault splays in its SE part (Sharekord area). Evaluation of deformation conditions of the MZRF fault rocks carried out using quartz, feldspar and calcite twins’ microstructures as well as mineral composition indicates that the fault has propagated from various conditions correspond to different brittle to brittle-ductile transition zones. This implies localization and partitioning of deformation along strike of the Zagros suture zone. In the Baneh area, the suture zone is an emerged deep-rotted ductile zone, while in the Shahrekord area, this zone is detached at a basal detachment zone between basement and cover and then partitioned into four fault splays through its propagation to the upper structural level. This show that suture zones in orogenic belts might have changes along strike from thick-skinned to thin-skinned thrusts.

    The shear viscosity tensor of a superfluid Fermi gas in a p-wave state with weak interactions was investigated using the Boltzmann equation at low temperatures. Therefore, transition probabilities of the binary collision, decay, and coalescence processes were considered for this purpose. Theoretically, the dominant processes at low temperatures find to be the binary ones, whereas the elements of the shear viscosity (i.e., ) report to be proportional to .
