    Correct use of children and teenagers’ free time is very important. This research aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of free time programs in children and teenagers’ health status using an experimental study. The study population included all pupils in year 3 to 9 who attended free time programs organized for summer 2008 in northern Khorasan, Iran. Descriptive and analytical statistics were used throughout data analysis. Findings did not show a significant difference in the health status of children before and after attending the programs. In other word, the summer free time programs organized for children were not effective. These programs to succeed need an appropriate plan based on pupils’ needs and interests, cooperation of medical institutes and collaboration of non-governmental organizations.

    This article will present activity based costing method as a tool for decision making and better management in health sector. Target group of this study are financial managers, supervisors, inspectors and so on in health section. First we talk about production costs and then, studies that investigate ABC method would be reviewed.After that we talk about implementation of this method with an applicable sample.

    Nanotechnology is a new science that has various charachteristics and many important applications especially in medicine. Variety of its applications presents that as an interdicipllinary science. This article explains several definition of nanotechnology and explains its base, structure, importance and its application in medicine. Thenarticle talks about new vision for nanotechnology. Last subject is resons that medical students should be attention to nanotechnonogy.

    Private and public sector have been partnership for health promotion. Several organizations have been innovation in this respect. It seems that multypotential organizations are more successful than others. This study has performed for determining of weakness and strength points in health cooperative companies. This study has done in tow sections. First all of documents and evaluating checklists gathered and data were extracting. Then descriptive view points of managers and performance officersgathered in data sheets. Based on gathered data they said mostimportant weaknesses were percapita rate, little support of health planners and how to share benefits. Most important strengths that they said were public interest, stakeholder satisfaction, accessibility and quality of services.It seems that improving the health cooperative companies performance can apply by revising the process of provider selection and long term contracts and trend based evaluation.

    Herbal medicine is a branch of alternative medicine and has ancient history. The aim of this study is to survey on teacher’s knowledge and performance for herbal drugs in city of Meybod in Yazd province. Thus researcher has gathered data by a questioner fromall teachers schools in Meybod. 100 teachers (59men and 41women) have completed the questioner. 65% have bachelor degree (academic graduated). 65% said that they believe herbal drugs are effective for some diseases. 75% of teachers said that theyhave used herbal drugs occasionally and 56% of them said they believed that these drugs can treat some diseases. They told that most frequent diseases that herbal drugs can use for them are psychological disorders (722%), hypertension (35%), and ENTdiseases (34%). Because of teacher’s knowledge have direct and indirect effects onstudent’s performance and their family knowledge and performance, it is necessary to promote teachers knowledge in this respect.
