Facility layout planning is one of the most important problems in plants. A good layout leads to considerable decrease in material handling cost. In this paper, a mathematical model is applied to determine the optimum layout of assembly department facilities in GPI plant. It is a mixed integer programming model based on the model developed by Tompkins model. The objective function is to minimize material handling cost in the assembly department. The Problem is solved by LINGO and the solution determines the optimum location of facilities.

Nowadays, establishing business networks in the form of efficient supply chains have created competitive advantage for corporations and its effective performance depends on their risk management technique. Supply chain’s risks are not necessary independent of each other and they have a dynamic nature. Hence, risks should be categorized in the form of a cause and effect group to raise supply chain robustness. In such cases applying traditional risk identification methods could not necessarily valid. This matter comes more important when the risk assessment in upstream and downstream of a given supply chain is simultaneously on interest. Using the DEMATEL group decision making technique, the present paper is focused on supply chain critical risks identification method in the presence of complicated cause and effect relationships. The advantage of proposed method is on consideration of complicated structure of risks when the lack of information makes the experts opinion worthy of attention. In order to reveal the proposed method capabilities, a real case study followed in a Nissan supply chain at the Pars Khodro Corporation.

This paper combines a group analytic hierarchy process (GAHP) and technique of order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) in fuzzy or non-fuzzy form to define project activities weight factors. A project with 121 activities is proposed as a case and critical parameters which are affecting the priority of each activity are recognized and weighted by GAHP in its fuzzy or non-fuzzy forms. These weights are subsequently used as the inputs for TOPSIS in its fuzzy or non-fuzzy forms to define the project activities weights. The weights are assigned to the activities and the S-curves of the two new fuzzy and non-fuzzy methods are drawn to compare with the two accepted traditional ones – Bill of quantity (BOQ) and Milestones methods. Finally, analyze of variance method is used for mathematical comparing of the methods. The results are shown that the two new methods are valid and the non-fuzzy one is better than the fuzzy one.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the effect of structural dimensions on entrepreneurial tendency. The research population is employees at Document Registration Administration office at Ardabil province where 47 sample selected by the random sampling method. The descriptive statistics has used for analyzing the status of organization under study in terms of organizational structure and entrepreneurship. Also, a multiple linear regression has used to investigate the effect of structural dimensions on entrepreneurship tendency. The results of this paper show that in the selected sample the degree of formalization and hierarchy of authority is high but the degrees of standardization, centralization, complexity and specialization are low. Furthermore, the entrepreneurship status of organization under study is low. The results of regression show that the formalization, centralization and specialization criteria have meaningful effects on organizational entrepreneurship.

The main purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and employees’ empowerment in Birjand Kavir Tire Company. The research method was descriptive - correlation and due the nature of this study, data collection process was done based on library and field study. All of Birjand Kavir Tire Company employees were the research population from which 133 employees (male and female) were selected based on random sampling method. Data was collected through two questionnaires consisted of four categories underling the structure of the 20 items for measuring transformational leadership (TL) and four categories with 12 items for measuring employees’ empowerment. Alpha reliability coefficients for TL and empowerment are 0.87 and 0.75 respectively. Data was done in inferential level statistics approaches (Pearson correlation, t test, ANOVA and stepwise regression technique). The findings showed that there was a positive relationship between transformational leadership and employees’ empowerment and its components (i.e., self - determination, meaning, impact, and competence). The findings also showed that there was a positive relationship between all components of transformational leadership (i.e., Inspirational Motivation, Intellectual Stimulation, and Individualized Consideration) and employees’ empowerment. Regression results show that transformational leadership’s components as individualized consideration, inspirational motivation and idealized influences can predict employees’ empowerment in Birjand Kavir Tire Co. The t test result showed that there was no significant difference between males and females’ empowerment. The ANOVA test result indicated that there was no significant difference among levels of education regard to empowerment.

Nowadays, empowering employees is one of the controversial miracles to develop approaches for human resource and organizational development. This study attempts to explain and examine the organizational factors that influence psychological empowerment of employees in Ripi research methods, using the correlation matrix (covariance) descriptive and correlation analysis questionnaires were used to collect data and information the questionnaire was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha reliability coefficient for content and construct validity. Factor analysis was used to assess construct validity (exploratory). Hypothesis testing and evaluation of causal relationship between independent and dependent variables were done by using structural equation modeling employing Lisrel software. In the end, guidelines were presented based on the obtained results.

An urban traffic network is, in fact, a discrete event system in which traffic light is an efficient tool to control the flow of traffic. Proper timing of traffic lights can make a big impact on the flow of vehicles, the number of cars waiting behind the light, and on the citizen commuting time. In this paper, to achieve the timing of traffic lights, using colored Petri nets, a traffic model is built. The proposed model captures the control logic of traffic lights and flow of vehicles. Using computer simulation, different timing scenarios have been modeled and evaluated. Moreover, to demonstrate the application of the proposed model, an important intersection has been studied within the city of Bushehr. A suitable timing of traffic lights is determined based on simulation outputs. The proposed timing scenario was able to gain a great improvement on the intersection performance.

The present research was carried out on determining the factorial structure of safety climate in non-profit organizations. The present research method is based on descriptive survey. Research population is the universities (Semnan University, Semnan Azad University, Payam Noor University) and Public Banks (Mellat, Sepah, Refah, Maskan, Keshavarsii, Saderat, Tejarat). In sum, research sample is consisted of 412 persons of studied organization's personnel. Research data was collected by a questionnaire, and analyzed by using the exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, independence One-Sample mean different Test, and Pearson's correction coefficient. Four safety climate dimensions are identified based on exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis: (a) Organization's top management commitment and action. (b) Employee's safety attitude and commitment. (c) Employee's safety knowledge, (d) Organization's emergency response. The results of Pearson Correlation coefficient indicate that there is a significant correction between all organization safety climate dimensions, The results of independence One-Sample mean different Test indicate that there is a significant different between the current and favorite states of organization safety environment.

In recent decades, Operational budgeting is a privilege factor for world leader organizations as one of important and outstanding reformative financial mechanisms and successful firms accounting. Though this method in budgeting has proved its own efficiency, especially in public sector, nowadays some questions are still asked in using this
    Method
"Why do few states use operational budgeting meaningfully and properly?" and "which requirements must be considered to perform proper and suitable operational budgeting by public companies?"To answer the above mentioned questions, this paper first tries to offer a brief literature from budgeting issues-especially operational budgeting- based on "Sheh triple model" and then identify and prioritize factors and criteria as barriers in operational budgeting implementation of Iran public organizations. To measure 3 main hypotheses & 9 second hypotheses, researches have used 2 statistical tests: One Sample T test & Fridman test. Based on first test results, all main hypotheses have been accepted and 2 second hypotheses – performance appraisal ability & legal authority – among 9 second hypotheses have been rejected. Based on secondary test results, ability is identified as a main deterrent factor and acceptance is placed in next rank and criteria of technical ability, organizational authority, procedural authority and political-incentive acceptance (with the same points) in sequence are placed as highest degree of barrier from operational budgeting in studied organization.
