An Investigation about Geomorphological characteristics of erosional forms in Azghand watershed basin

Erosional forms of the earth are result of numerous factors and determinants such as Climate, Geology, Vegetation, Steep, Water, Soil, etc. Azghand watershed basin that is located in Kashmar and Mahvelat townships, Khorasan Razavi Province, is part of zone of mountain in chain of central Iran based upon geological structure. This region belong to tertiary era and sediments based upon litological diversity and Granodiorite unit with tertiary age that includes 70% of the basin, in south part of it. This paper tries to analyze geomorphological forms and erosional process. The results show this region can be divided in tow geomorphological units, mountainous and hilly. In this area nine facioses are determined that have different characteristics. Beside Physical Factors anthropogenic determinants are important for erosional form in this region.
