Abstract:
Objective

The aim of the Current meta-analysis was to determine the effectiveness of parenting styles education programs on behavioral disorders. This research specifies the effect size of parenting styles education programs by using meta-analysis technique and integrating the results of different studies.

Method

On the whole, 10 methodologically acceptable studies were selected and metaanalysis was done on them. Sources of data search were scientific documents in universities, Scientific Information Database (SID), noor specialized magazines database (noormags), Iranian Research Institute for Information Science and Technology (IRANDOC). The research tool was meta-analysis checklist.

Results

Data analysis showed that the rate of effect size of education programs of parenting styles on behavioral disorders was high.

Conclusion

it seems that the education programs of parenting styles can be used as a method to prevent the behavioral disorders in the training centers.
