The effects of human capital inequality in male and female on economic growth in different areas of the world

Abstract:
In past decades، economists have focused on human capital and its effect on economic growth and development. In recent decades، attention has been on gender human capital inequality and its role on economic growth. The purpose of this research was to illustrate the effects of human capital inequality in male and female on economic growth in different areas of the world. Utilizing statistic models and econometric، a descriptive- analytic research method was chosen for this study. Statistical population consisted of persons over 15 and 25 years old. Data were analyzed by using human capital Gini coefficient. Result showed that in developing and advanced countries to the extent that human capital inequality in male and female decreases، economic growth increases significantly. An important finding of this study is that decreasing human capital inequality for females has more positive effect on economic growth than males.
