Pilot Study of development and validating the inventory for husband-selection criteria in female students

The purpose of the research is to construct and validatethe inventory to asess husband-selection criteria in female students. In this research 100 students were randomly selected from the female students living in student''s dormity of Shahid Chamran University، AhvazThe participants completed the Husband-Selection Criteria Inventory. Factor analysis) principle components analysis (indicated eight factor(behavioral characteristic، social skills، appearance characteristic، adjustment with situation، social–economic status، housekeeper skill، want children، intelligence and creativity) account for 67/32% of the variance. Data were indicative of high level of Coranbach''s alpha for total inventory and extracted factors. Results of factor analysis is consistent with prior findings. Mate selection criteria inventory can be used in research and educational setting particularly for investigation of mate selection criteria.
