Semantics of " command" in Quran

Abstract:
Semantics is one of linguistic branches which have no longer background. But some of its matters and ideas can be discussed. This theory has been presented since middle nineteen century in the modern linguistic. It studies meaning in the speech structure. Max Muller and Michel Brail were its first founders. Multi-meaning is discussed in semantics. Lexical meaning and development sequence of “command” in Quran will be discussed in this paper. Also, it will show that “command” has a multi-meaning structure semantically. At last, it concluded that “command” has various meaning with respect to subjective situation of the verses.
