Fundamental change: individual ready to change training organizations

Abstract:
Change is one of the most prominent the characteristics that describes the contemporary organizations. Similar to other organizations, the police organizations in order fulfillment theirs mission are obligated to review evolutionary approaches of change toward the fundamental change. However, no individual ready to accept the change, due to nature of fundamental changes that makes profound changes in strategy, mission, leadership and organizational culture, the likelihood of successful the change efforts faces with threats and in most cases it fail. Accordingly, this study based on review of previous studies and with purpose investigate the role of two key elements of the "process of change" and "context of change" on "individual readiness for change" has taken place. Review of Literature showed: when the individuals (A) in the process of change, experience the normative – reductive change strategies, and (B) perceive their organizational context to have the characteristics associated with learning culture, are more likely to have higher levels of readiness for organizational change.
