This paper examines proper names created in GhahveTalkh serial. This article is a part of a broader research on linguistic aspects of the play of ghahve Talkregarding to linguistic innovations in creating humor. 35 proper names have been created angd used in this serial. They have been studied based on their emotional, structural and historical meanings. This study showed that emotional meaning of proper names has made a contrast referring to the name owners’ characteristics of the names. The innovation was realized in creating names by adding titles like “-saltane” and “-molk” to the roots with negative emotional meaning, informal words with low social status or to English words. There are three nodal points that have been realized in this serial. They are “history”, “opposability of west and east” and “time”. It seems that linguistic innovation is along side of the nodal points to create humor.
