The effect of migration on social security

Migration as a social phenomenon could turn to a social problem if not properly controlled. Due to certain job opportunities and some higher education centers, Semnan has attracted many migrants. The residing migrant population consists of university students, workers, and foreigners (mostly Afghans) which has brought about certain social- security problems. The present study aims at investigating The Effect of Migration on Social Security of Semnan to classify the migrants and the related crimes committed by them. 2511 of the arrested migrants were investigated and questionnaire was used to collect the experts view point. Findings of the study demonstrated that cases studied in the research had significant positive effect in increasing crimes in Semnan.
