The role of self-directed learning on human capital in governmental organizations (Case: Ministry of Cooperative, Labour and Social Welfare)

Abstract:
This study aimed to explan a role of self-directed learning on human capital in Ministry of Cooperative, Labour and Social Welfare. The research method was descriptive and correlational and data analysis metod was SEM. Population was 1500 person of Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare that Using Cochran's sampling formula that Sample size was determined 306 personnel by simple random sampling. Self-directed learning questionnaire with the reliability (α =0/93) and human capital questionnaire with the reliability (α =0/95) were used to collect data, that have also reviewed and approved the content and construct validity of questionnaire. To analyze the data, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, confirmatory factor analysis, t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise regression and structural equation modeling was used.
