Preschool children''s career needs Assessment

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore the needs of preschool childrens career in year of 2014-15 in Isfahan city. The design was exploratory-descriptive. In this study 377 preschool childrens parents selected by using multistage cluster sampling. Data was collected by preschool childrens career needs questionnaire with 91 items(khorasani, 2015). The questionnaire reliability coefficient was 0/96 based on Cronbachs alpha coefficient and the content validity of the questionnaire was confirmed. The analysis of data was by descriptive statistics and analysis of independent sample T test by using SPSS-18. After analysis of descriptive data, preschool childrens career needs obtained in order of priority: Attachment and emotional support, career confidence, career control, the effect of parental role models, career self-awareness, career concern/curiosity, increasing parents knowledge of childrens career.
