Evaluation the impact of spatial-temporal of urban land policies and laws on the optimal expansion of the city of Mahabad Using CA-Markov

In the recent decades and after the Islamic revolution and coincided with the dissention in urban space, the type of urban growth was under the influence of intellectual formation and decision-making development different from what furnishes before the revolution. In this regard in terms of growth and urban development, the need for urban land, the way to make a decision and decision-making in type of benefit from lands has opened by applying the laws and regulations. So, land cover maps derived from satellite images has a constructive role in the analysis and evaluation the urban areas and ensure the foresight on the horizon of programs. Integration of GIS and remote sensing provide an effective tool for collecting and analyzing spatiotemporal data. This study are made and not made with object of modeling land cover changes in two classes of land use and placement of land of Land and Housing National Organization on the surface of this land uses in the city of Mahabad by using of the model CA- Markov. The results of this study raise the level of land utilization of National Land Survey and Housing on the horizon, the year of 2021 with an area of 397.15 hectares and top efficiency of combination model CA-Markov in seeing of urban development using a Land and Housing National Organization and urban growth modeling for the coming years. So creating the produced maps can help path of fertility opened mind in regarding the future of the city and how land utilization.
