Instructing Stress coping strategies to Mother with deaf children and its Impact on their depression and decline parenting stress

The purpose of the current study was to investigate the effect of Stress coping strategies to mothers of deaf children on reducing stress and depression of these mothers.
The research method was quasi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design and control group. To do so, 24 mothers of deaf children were selected using at-hand sampling and divided into control and experimental groups. Both groups filled out parenting stress index and beck depression inventory. In the next step, the experimental group was Stress coping strategies in 10 ninety-minute sessions while the mothers in control group went on their normal procedures. At the end of the instructional session, both groups filled out the mentioned questioners as the post-test. Covariance analysis was used for analyzing data.
The results of the analysis of covariance showed that stress management methods reducing parenting stress scores in mothers (P One can conclude from this study that Stress coping strategies is an effective strategy to help reducing parent's psychological problems that face deaf children, because of its high efficiency specially when being administered in groups, being cheaper and being accepted from families.
