Varavini in Mutanabbi s table

Abstract:
Marzban-nameh is one of the important books of Persian literature and one of the masterpieces of Persian prose which has been written ornately yet in most cases quite simply, very eloquently and beautifully. This valuable work was written in Tabari dialect by Marzban Ibn Rostam Ibn Shervin, one of the Tabari princes. And it was rewritten from ancient Tabari dialect to Dari Persian Language by worthy Author and scholar, Sad-Al-Din Varavini which adorned in the literal and spiritual Persian and Arabic poetry and proverbs and News. Marzban-nameh is considered allegorical literature (fable) and its prose is technical. Arabic and Persian proverbs can be found in abundance in this valuable book. One of the poets whose poetries have been used in Marzban-nameh as a witness and example is the renowned Arab poet, Mutanabbi. He is Abbasid era poet in the early fourth century AD that the owner of this exquisite treasure has used his proverbs and aphorisms in his writing. Even, common themes are observed between Mutanabbi’s proverbs and proverbs in Marzban-nameh. In this study, it is tried to study and find proverbs and aphorisms which have similarities and parallels.
