Investigate the effect urban design on the behavior and morality of the citizens (Case study: the streets of the Imam, Modares and Kashani of Urmia)

This research with analyzes the relationship between space and the citizens ethics and behavior, discusses the space-based approach to the management of urban behaviors, and survey the effects of the physical and visual Criteria on the streets of morally based with an emphasis on three streets Including Emam, Kashani and modares of Urmia deals. Descriptive - correlation research method used in this study. and 80 people with confidence coefficient 95% were selected as the sample size by using Cochran, of people who have Presence and Walking experience in these streets. Collected data is composed of (18 visual and physical criteria) by field (primary data) and using interviews and questionnaires, the cluster distributed Equally between men and women. For evaluation and data processing descriptive and inferential statistics Methods were used in the form of SPSS software. The Obtained results show show that There is close relationship relationship between the visual - physica environment and morally Based on level of the street there and weighted scores obtained from the questionnaire show that in terms of the appropriateness of physical and visual elements and quality-based behavior, Imam St. Has highest scores and the streets of Kashani and Modares were next in Category respectively. Regard to this point, visual and physical criteria Have more impact on women Rather than men. For this purpose, space intervention for the space organizing of streets has been proposed as a tool of controlling behavior and ethics patterns (individual and collective) in streets.
