The role of using data mining on organizational performance of the director of public libraries of Tehran universities with the knowledge management approach

The purpose of this research is to investigate the role of data mining on the organizational performance of Tehran University libraries with knowledge management approach. The research method is analytic-analytical. To analyze data from SP.S.S. And amos have been used. The research community includes the director of the central library and satellite libraries of the state universities of Tehran. In total, 213 central and satellite libraries and the same number of managers are identified and based on the Cochran formula, a sample of 137 managers. Regarding the normal distribution of data, the parametric test of tectonuclear / single-test test is used to examine the first three hypotheses (knowledge management status, organizational performance, and data mining utilization). The hypotheses of the conceptual model of research are also analyzed based on structural equations. The findings of the study indicate that only two hypotheses were confirmed by six hypotheses. None of the hypotheses related to the conceptual model of research, which were the main hypotheses of the research, were not confirmed. The results of this study showed that the status of data mining and organizational performance of the manager of the libraries of Tehran's public universities is moderate and knowledge management status is desirable. The use of data mining and knowledge management on organizational performance of the director of public libraries in Tehran's public universities is not affected. The use of data mining on knowledge management from the perspective of the director of these libraries is also not effective.
