Phenomenological study of the concept of identity in historical textures by location components in the design of new urban textures (Case study: Saghari Sazan neighborhood of Rasht)

New textures are not designed with regard to the identity of historical textures and this issue reveals the importance of paying attention to the promotion of identity in new textures, because the lack or lack of this quality leads to the lack of human communication with the environment And the formation of an environment without meaning and readability. this study After extracting components of place identity from reliable resources and surveys, is following the prioritization of these components in the identification of Sagharisazan as an old historical texture in Rasht city, This is done, a step can be taken to identify new spaces. Also, because place identity is composed of objective and subjective dimensions,the author tried to determine the amount of influence of each dimension in promoting identity of historical context. The method of study was analytic-interpreting and was performed using a case study survey. In the first step, components of place identity were derived from reliable sources and questionnaires were used to draw people`s opinions, then data of questionnaires were inserted in SPSS software whom Based on analytical technique of exploratory agent, variables were categorized in the form of eleven factor determining of place identity.Then, on the basis of prioritizing components of place identity resulted from linear multi-variable regression, architectural approaches were presented to promote place identity in new spaces. Moreover, it was clarified that in the process of identity making, objective criteria are more influential than subjective ones. Finally, conceptual model is presented using components obtained from study.
