Informatization of agricultural industry and its implications in China

The purpose of this article is to introduce the term "Agricultural Informatization " and its importance and application in agricultural development, focusing on China.Metodology: It, with a review approach, seeks to provide an overview of agricultural informatization and agricultural information dissemination models along with the changes that have been made in this area in China. The results revealed that there are three mechanisms of agricultural information services that rely on government actions, market flows, and local community initiatives. The analysis of statistics on the owners of the right to reproduce the agricultural software packages indicates that agricultural research institutes and universities are the main developers of agricultural software and play a leading role in their research and development. Accurate and informative knowledge-based agricultural techniques are the main drivers of sustainable agricultural production, whose potential contribution to agriculture can be addressed through lower costs, increased efficiency and improved productivity. Rapid changes in the field of information and communication technology have led to the development and diffusion of electronic services in the agricultural sector. Therefore, the development of national strategies for the implementation and use of information and communication technology in agriculture should be on the agenda of governments.
