Effect of six weeks endurance, resistance and combined training on liver ALT and AST in the liver of ovariectomized rat
Fatty liver disease is a kind of fat accumulation in the liver cells which uncontrolled subjects have a trend to parenchymal fibrosis and cell death. In this study, we investigated the effects the combined Resistance-Endurance training and Soybean supplementation on expression of Mir-133 in the heart ovariectomized (OVX) rats.
Fifty wistar female rats under controlled conditions (temperature, light/dark (12:12) cycle, with ad Libitum access to food and water) were housed and after familiarization with protocol they were divided into five groups, ten per group: Sham, Ovariectomy (OVX), OVX with Soy (OVX+SOY), OVX with Resistance-Endurance training (OVX+RE+EN) and OVX+RE+EN with Soy (OVX+ RE+EN+SOY). 48 hours after the end of the last session rats were anesthetized and sacrificed.
The results showed that endurance and resistance training and combination of Endurance- Resistance training had a significant effect on ALT and AST liver enzymes in orectomized rats (p <0.05) Combined exercises had the greatest effect on ALT and AST liver enzymes in OVX rats (p <0.05)
