The prediction of mental health based on variables of Job Satisfaction, Spiritual Happiness

Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to predict mental health based on job satisfaction and spiritual vitality. This research was a descriptive-correlational survey. The statistical population consisted of all employees of the Central Iranian Oil Company (Tehran Headquarters). Sixty individuals were randomly selected and Mental Health Questionnaire (MHI-38), Herzberg's Job Satisfaction (1966), and Spiritual Freshness of Afroz (1395) Completed. Data were analyzed by SPSS software using descriptive statistics (mean and standard deviation) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis). The findings indicated that there is a significant positive correlation between mental health and the component of psychological distress and psychological well-being with job satisfaction and its components, as well as spiritual vitality and its components (P <0.001). The results of regression analysis showed that the components of job satisfaction and spiritual vitality were significantly (P <0.05) predictive of mental health
