Region 12 of Tehran Vulnerability Zoning Against Artificial and Natural Threats by Passive Defense Approach

Region 12 of Tehran is known as one of the most strategic urban zones, because of its geographical situation in the middle of capital and its important land uses include Golestan palace, The parliament, Hospitals and etc. in this Research, according to theory framework in Passive Defense, 7 Effective Factors on Urban Regions Vulnerability had found and case study would analyze based on them. The main goal is “Region 12 of Tehran Zoning against Artificial and Natural threats by Passive Defense Approach”. First 7 GIS Layers of Case study has created and Assessment. Then priority of Factors has found By ANP Method and Random distributing questionnaire among 20 Architecture and urbanism professors of all high ranking Tehran Universities. Finally, All the Layers put together by Emphasis on their Points and their priority and the Map of Vulnerability of Tehran’s Region 12 has created. Results show in Total 89/5 Percent of Case study Blocks are put in High risk Vulnerability. Fuzzy Vulnerability Map shows that Respectively 23, 22, 20,11,10,19 and 20 Neighborhoods have most Vulnerability against Artificial and Natural threats .
