The coincidence antagonists action in a selection of Iranian folk-tales (with a special attitude towards structural narratology) Saboureh Rangraz1 Dr. Asqar Fahimi Far2 Dr. Ebrahim Khodayar3 In this research, four Iranian tales have been selected as a case study deposit to be checked according to theories of contemporary narratives, actions, with a special attitude to “similarities between the action of antagonists characters in folk-tales. The present research focuses specially on “antagonists actions” in these folk-tales and aims to reveal that similar action in these stories how and with what qualities of the stories have been created by storytellers in a variety of ways despite the characters of these stories. The main question of this article is that what are the fundamental similarities between the actions of antagonists characters in Iranian folk-tales? In what basis do these antagonists actions form? This research intends to classify the frequency of action patterns in antagonists characters and reveal the similarities in their actions in a comparative way. The present research using the collected library information during the analytical and descriptive research stages, concludes that in spite of the existence of similar and common actions and the production of all kinds of “identical evils” by antagonists in folk-tales, the content of their actions follows the inhuman behavior of antagonists characters in these stories. 1.
