The Role of Communication Skills in Improving Managers' Performance (Case Study: Senior and Middle Managers of Payame Noor University)
The present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between managers' communication skills and their performance in Payame Noor University. The purpose of this research was to answer the question whether communication skills affect the performance of managers. This research is a descriptive-correlative research. The statistical population of the managers of Payame Noor University was 120 people through systematic random sampling. In order to collect information, the Barton J & A communication skills standard questionnaire and the managers' performance evaluation form have been used. The analysis of the findings of the questionnaire was done at the inferential level using SPSS software. At the inferential level, based on the assumptions of the research, regression and correlation tests as well as in the lateral findings, independent t-test and one way analysis of variance were used. According to the results, it has been confirmed that there is a relationship between managers' communication skills and their performance. This means that with increasing communication skills, the performance of managers will also increase.
