Abstract:

The main objective of this paper is to explore democracy in terms of political thought and Iranian socialism was the second Pahlavi era. Hence the question arises whether this process can be considered as exemplary democracy also offered. Study of action and in terms of the political process, with application-way flow-discourse theoretical model showed that democracy was one of the signs that the meaning of socialism to try to reform it, resulting in long service will socialist transformation and in conflict of discourse, anti-regulation tools and the resistance speech reinforcing elements for the realization of the central signifier of "socialism" is. The text of the current practice and opinion, three models "popular democracy", "guided democracy" and "democracy mutual" recognition and were conceptualized. Comparative evaluation of models showed the main pattern and process of democracy the socialist period, the pattern has been popular democracy.
