The strategic role of the media in explaining the role of natural-human geographic variables in waste management in Tehran

Waste management is the management applied of production waste with human activities and Its purpose is to stop or reduce their adverse effects on human health. The main goal that the researcher follows in this research, This is how the appropriate model of waste management in Tehran should be, emphasizing the strategic role of the media? And What are the components and indicators of this model? Research is purposeful, developmental, and applied, It is mixed in nature and method. It was done in two stages, qualitative and quantitative, Statistical sample in the qualitative section including university experts and Waste specialists consisted of 21 people, and in quantitative section, The citizens of Tehran were determined with a sample size of 387 people. The library method and the researcher-made questionnaire were used to collect information. The validity of the questions was confirmed by the experts and Combined reliability method was used to determine reliability, To determine the adequacy of the samples from the fitness test Kaizer Mayer and Bartlet and the Varimax rotation test was used to match the questions. Also to identify the structural factors of the model from the method of exploratory factor analysis and And to fit the pattern of structural equation modeling was done with SMART PLS software, Based on the conceptual research model ,The media can be through awareness strategie, culture building, education and information be effective in implementing the waste management process.
