Designing a Model for Assessing Social Innovation at Organization level
Social innovations provide unique solutions for unmet social needs and policy makers should measure these needs to develop these kinds of innovation. The present study aimed to provide a framework for assessing social innovations at organization level.
This is an applied research in terms of purpose and was performed in two parts as a mixed research method. Accordingly, in the first part, using qualitative meta-synthesis research methods, and in the second part, using the survey method and by utilizing from content validity evaluation, explanation of the model was performed.
By selecting and evaluating 75 studies initial framework was provided. Afterward, in order to revise the framework extracted by meta-synthesis according to the Organizations in Iran, a semi-structured interview was used to collect data from experts, and the final model was provided based on 4 dimensions with 16 concepts and 56 codes.
Researchers by the present model can present a pattern to estimate the value of the products of social innovation by using this model based on the context, input and processes of formation.
