Therefore, this research examines the impact of transformational leadership on innovative behavior in environmental NGO and for innovation in research, added a mediator variables scouting.
Design/methodology/approach:
This study was done with a quantity and Practical approach.The statistical population of this study are members of environmental NGO in mazandaran province. two-step sampling method was used to determine the sample. First, among of 20 NGOs,19 NGOs were randomly selected, Then, used krejcie and morgan table for Sample size that calculated 301 Sample of 1382 member 19 environmental NGO in mazandaran province. To measure variable used from the standard questionnaire. 301 online questionnaires were answered. data were analized using SPSS and PLS software.
transformational leadership, to 2.103 t-value and 0.114 p-value effect in innovative work behavior. transformational leadership to 5.807 t-value and 0.376 p-value effect in scouting behavior. scouting behavior to 13.236t-value and 0.695 p-value effect in innovative work behavior The findings of this research clearly demonstrate, scouting behavior is mediation of transformational leadership on the effects of innovative work behavior.
There is a positive and significant relationship,between transformational leadership, innovative work behavior and scouting behavior. Therefore,suggested that managers with a transformational leadership style, create a good atmosphere for increasing the scouting behavior in organization, and thus, increase the motivation of employees to innovative work behavior.
