An analysis of the urban decline central business of Urmia
The concept of urban decline is in fact the spatial focus of problems, which manifests itself in the form of high levels of unemployment, poverty and environmental pollution. Urban decline is complex and multidimensional in nature, including economic, social, physical, environmental and mental dimensions. In this study, the deterioration of the central part of Urmia over a period of 30 years from 1986 to 2016 has been investigated. The type of research based on the applied purpose and its strategy has been deductive and in the framework of analytical methods and correlation with emphasis on systemic approach. To analyze information and data, 3 indicators of population density, public-social security and active population in the dimension of social characteristics, 2 indicators of population displacement and sense of belonging to residents in the neighborhood, in the dimension of social interaction, 4 indicators of building quality, amount Land use compatibility, building ossification and physical permeability in physical dimension and 2 indicators, access to public spaces and land grading in environmental quality, 4 indicators of access to health services, access to educational services, access to services Leisure and the amount of access to cultural services in the service dimension has been extracted to investigate the situation of urban decline in the central region of Urmia using factor analysis, SPSS and GIS. The results of the factor analysis method based on the "composite final index" show that the final score obtained in the central part of Urmia in the period 1385 with a significant decrease
