Study of ISIL's treatment of women
The terrorist group ISIS, which stands for the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. From the beginning, it focused on men and the role of their physical strength in group battles. Gradually, however, women joined the group as progress was made. The role that women played in the war and guerrilla movements of ISIL was very different from the role of men and can be examined from several angles.Ever since Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi took over the leadership of al-Qaeda in Iraq. The entry of women into al-Qaeda in Iraq began, and after al-Baghdadi announced that he had formed the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) and sent Abu Muhammad Jolani to Syria to form the Islamic State of Syria, women joined the group in various ways. Huge numbers of women around the world sided with the group and openly opposed ISIL. Some of them were outside ISIL and some were forced members of ISIL. This article attempts to examine how women interact with the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
