Analytical study of The Contextual Damages of Lack of Attention to Human Resource Competencies in the Sports of Universities

The human resources of sport as the sports executives of each country are very influential on all sectors of the sports industry.

Accordingly, the recognition of the competencies essential for them is the main objective of the current research. This research was an applied research and was carried out qualitatively using Grounded Theory. The statistical population of the study consisted of physical education elites in Physical Education Departments of Iranian state universities.

The sampling was carried out theoretically using and snowball sampling technique. The instrument for data collection was a semi-structured interview. Also, the data from the interviews were coded and analyzed using grounded theory. The grouping of the codes resulted in 4 main categories (Cultural context, knowledge, psychology and organizational independence), 9 sub-categories and 32 concepts.

The final results obtained in this study showed that addressing and eliminating harmful areas in the physical education departments of the universities helps to achieve the strategic goals of the organization, and, on the other hand, the presence of qualified staff in Academic sports can pave the way for improving injuries.
