Abstract:
Speed ​​in civil proceedings, as one of the indisputable and important rules and principles of proceedings, has long been considered by jurists, judges, and lawyers, especially the courts, and even non-observance of it undermines the validity and authority of judicial proceedings. In recent years, steps have been taken to make the judicial system in the courts of justice smarter by adapting it from other countries, and the speed of proceedings has been considered as one of the effects of electronic civil proceedings, so that in order to enjoy the right to a fair trial, The handling of cases, the issuance of verdicts and their execution as soon as possible has greatly helped the judicial system of the country and has increased the people's trust in the judiciary regarding the speed of the process of processing cases day by day. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of electronic civil proceedings on the speed of proceedings in Iranian law and its comparative study in the US legal system.
