Sociological study of the relationship between cultural capital and the tendency to commit violent crimes among men in Kermanshah
Crime is a phenomenon that has existed in all past and present societies. However, being permanent and general does not mean that crime is the same among them, but differs from one society to another, from one region to another, and from time to time. Due to the importance of the relationship between cultural capital and the tendency to commit violent crimes, the present study uses field methods, survey techniques, questionnaire research tools and the use of SPSS and Smart PLS software, to investigate the relationship between cultural capital and crime Violent crime is the main target. The statistical population of the present study is men 18 years and older in Kermanshah, 384 of whom have been studied using the Cochran's formula as the sample size. The results indicate that between the total amount of cultural capital (P = -0.36), and its dimensions, ie objectified cultural capital (P = -0.34), institutionalized cultural capital (P = -0.25) And embodied cultural capital (P = -0.40) has a negative and significant relationship with committing violent crimes; Therefore, all research hypotheses are confirmed. The results of the structural equation model (Smart PLS) also showed that the variable of social capital explains a total of -0.60 of the variance of the variable of committing violent crimes, taking into account the values of the volume of the effect of the coefficient of determination of this value. The average is estimated to be 0.36.
