Assessing the quality of life in the twenty-two districts of Tehran

Recognizing and measuring the quality of life in the twenty-two districts of Tehran, which is the result of the actions of urban management and other public and private institutions, is a very vital issue that due to the lack of quality of urban life in the capital so far, can be a roadmap for City management and other responsible institutions in order to be aware of the current situation and take action to achieve the desired situation. Based on this, the objectives of the present article can be considered in extracting comprehensive indicators and measures of urban quality of life and measuring and explaining quality of life throughout the twenty-two districts of Tehran. In data analysis, based on the choice of mental approach in measuring quality of life, various statistical analysis methods such as factor analysis have been used. Research findings in the theoretical studies section led to the documentation and comprehensive extraction of more than 10 quality of life indicators of economic (social, physical-spatial and cultural-recreational factors) from three theoretical areas of academic research, experiences of prestigious foreign cities and research of international organizations. . In the next steps, data were collected in the form of 2500 questionnaires in 22 districts of Tehran and their analysis was done by the mentioned methods. Findings from measuring quality of life in Tehran showed that social and economic factors have a significant impact on quality of life.
